Sausages and Perogies

We made it from Manila to Tai Pei. Stayed in a day rest room for 6 hours before getting kicked out just as the kids were falling asleep at 9 pm. At midnight we boarded the plane to Canada. We slept most of the way and watched a few movies. After 12 hours of flying we landed in Vancouver. We gathered our baggage, went through customs and put it in storage for the night. Our friend Mike Davies greeted our return to Canada and went on to their place for the night. I finally got the kids to sleep at midnight Canada time and 3 hours later Asher wakes up and says, "hey mom, I'm awake. Let's play." So that was that. We made it to 2 pm at Vancouver airport to board another plane. I thought our boxes of luggage would definately get crushed on the way through the suitcase maze.

AND NOW we're in Winnipeg at 45o Salter Ave. After being welcomed at the airport by Mercy and Jason and Loraleigh!! We just had perogies and farmer's sausage. The perfect "welcome to winnipeg" meal. Elijah ate 20 perogies on his own and 3 huge pieces of sausage.

So what time is it now? When am I supposed to feel tired?

We are off to the airport at 4am tomorrow to take the first flight to Toronto to spend a few weeks in the country with Gramma and Grampa Peters.

I'll be back in the 'Peg on 16th. Does that sound colloquial or what?

One walk around the block then off to bed.
